Pokémon to Rule My World Again?

What better way is there to accomplish none of your day's goals than to relapse even halfway into a Gameboy Pokémon (Red) addiction of olden times? Imagine that this treasured game for time immemorial in the gameosphere (which includes the Pokésphere) were to be made into an application for the consoles that are more attuned with the times: the cell phone. If multiplayer features and RPGs were to be mapped based upon social networks and a social networking scheme, this game would make such a successful comeback. Of course, however, it would in that case conditioned upon the whole drive for social networking which, I can venture to assume, would bastardize the game and denature its intrinsic awesomeness--in turn dissolving the memories of the 12+-hour daily investment in ensnaring and cultivating our favorite species of monsters.
