Vexed to the point of fatigue by having come to believe that I had been saving the progress which I had been making in what shall forever be the extent of my maternity, I have started anew on a non-net-based (and more contemporary) version of the game. The differences honestly only lie in the fact that this version is in color (I still prefer the original Game Boy version)--and the graphics are more detailed (there is a hint of three-dimensionality noticed when walking amongst the Poké-filled high grasses. The sound is suffocated in noise, which, though probably manipulable, doesn't sit well with one who oftentimes cares not to do any configuring beyond that which is readily available in the options menu.
I have only played it for about a total of twenty minutes for today, so I suppose that there was some good embrangled in the mass of suckitude that was losing three of my four rapidly-developing critters and my waxing and waning wealth.
